Creamy Mushroom On Toast

This flavorful canape, is extremely simplistic, ready in minutes and ideal for serving at any lunch, brunch, tea or dinner. One of those recipes, which you just can’t go wrong with; a must try for whenever your friends pop in next.


Prep time: 5 mins                  Cook time: 10-11 mins                    Serves: 10-12



1 – Bruschetta Loaf

1 Can – Mushrooms

2 Tbsp – Butter

2 tsp – Chopped Garlic

200g – Thick Cream

1 tsp – Salt

1 tsp – Black Pepper



Slice the mushrooms and bruschetta loaf (alternately you can take sliced bread and cut it into quarters/4 parts). Sautee garlic in butter, till they turn a very light golden. Add the sliced mushrooms to it. Fry for 2 minutes on medium flame. Then add the cream, salt, pepper and fry for another 3 minutes. Remove from stove. Start spreading generously on the sliced bruschetta. In a preheated oven (150 degrees), toast the bruschetta for 3-4 minutes, just before serving. Place on tray, preferably a nice decorative one, if it is a formal event.
